Biography
Jessie F. Baxter was born in Jan. 1854 at Pennsylvania, USA. He appeared on the census of 4 Aug. 1860 in the household of his parents, William Henry Baxter and Philena (Johnson) Baxter, at Farmington Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[1] He and his parents appeared on the census of 15 June 1870 in the household of his grandparents, William Baxter and Rachel (Paul) Baxter, at Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[2] He appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in the household of William Henry Baxter and Philena Johnson at Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[3]
He was a farmer when appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in the household of William Henry Baxter and Philena Johnson at Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[4] He appeared on the census of 18 Apr 1910 in the household of his brother-in-law, Albert J. Croffut, and sister, Florence (Baxter) Croffut, at Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[5]
He was a farmer when appeared on the census of 7 Jan. 1920 at Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[6]
Jesse died in 1921 and was buried at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[7]
