Biography

Luton Baxter was born in 2 March 1872 at Tompkins, New York, USA.^[1][2] He appeared on the census of 14 June 1880 in the household of his parents, Levi Baxter and Harriet Amelia (Houck) Baxter, at Walton, Delaware County, New York.^[3]

He married Margaret Van Loan^[4] circa 1894.^[2]

He was a farmer when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 15 June 1900 at, Delaware County, New York.^[2] He was a bee keeper when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 6 May 1910 at Tompkins, Delaware County, New York.^[5] He was a farmer with a bee farm when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 8 Jan 1920 at Tompkins, Delaware County, New York.^[6] He and Margaret appeared on the census of 15 April 1930 at Tompkins, Delaware County, New York.^[7] He was a famer in when he appeared on the census of 19 April 1940 at Tompkins, Delaware County, New York.^[8]
