Research Notes

Biographical Index of South Australians state he arrived on the London in 1840. The reconstructed passenger list on the Bound for South Australia website for the City Of London that arrived 19 Mar 1840 does not have him recorded. ^[3] There is no George Baxter in the 1841 South Australia Census, no Wills recorded in South Australia, nor any obituary published in the newspapers.
