Phillis was born on July 9, 1725 in Baltimore, Maryland.^[1] She is the daughter of Edmund Baxter and Mary Bowen.^[2]

Phillis married Thomas Roades Showel 29 December 1760, Colony of Maryland, British Colonial America.^[3][4]

Phillis passed away in 1794.
