Mrs. Margaret Ann Gravley, age 53, daughter of Elmer F. and Lillie Mae Tant Baxter, was born May 2, 1930 in Dallas, Paulding County, Georgia. She was married to her first husband, James Robert Burt, on her twenty-first birthday, May 2, 1951 in Paulding County, Georgia. Her second marriage was to James L. Gravley. Margaret loved children but never had children of her own, though she did have a child she raised for a while named, Debbie.
At the time of her death she was survived by her husband, James L. Gravley, her sister, Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Bates of Dallas, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hartwell (Violet Mae Thomas) Baxter of Richmond, Virginia; other relatives; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. Baxter and Lillie Mae Tant Baxter; her twin brothers, Roy and Hoyt Baxter who died at birth; brother, Mr. Elmer "Junior" Baxter who died Dec. 14, 1982 and her sister, Mrs. Irene Cerita Freeman, who passed away in 1970.
