This individual was 24 years old,single,with $27 and the only Baxter on the ship. He is noted as Irish, Presbtyerian and farm labour (all his life) headed for Sarnia, Ontario as farm labour. Served in WWI and fought at Vimy Ridge and Ypes. Was gassed at Ypes and sufferred damage to one lung. Served with the 48th Highlanders in the war and was a volunteer(militia) with the 5th Black Watch in Toronto for 5 years prior to the war.
