Marjorie Kezia Beacroft was born on 5th Oct 1900 at Penrith, New South Wales, Australia to parents George Beacroft and Keziah Witcom. ^[1]. She was the youngest of ten children and had four brothers and five sisters.

Two weeks after her 16th birthday Marjorie married John Stubbings on 21 Oct 1916 at Penrith, New South Wales, Australia. ^[2]
