Biography

Harry Albert Beale was born in 1892 at Witney in Oxfordshire. He was the son of Henry Beale and his wife Charlotte, born Charlotte Elizabeth Long. ^{[1] [2]}

In 1901 Harry A. Beale was living at 23 Bridge Street in Witney with his parents and their other children. His age was given as 8, implying a birth date in 1892 or 1893. His birthplace was given as Witney, Oxfordshire. ^[2]

Harry Albert Beale and Nellie Mabel Bridgman were married after banns in Witney, Oxfordshire on 5th April 1915^[3]. They were bachelor and spinster. Harry was 22, a blanket finisher living at 20 Wood Green, Witney and the son of Henry Beale who was also a blanket finisher. Nellie was 20, living at 33 Bridge Street, Witney and the daughter of Frederick Bridgman who was a packer. The witnesses to the marriage were Frederick William Bridgman and Catherine Ellen Bartlett^[4].
