DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joshua by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joshua:
Thanks for proposing this merge for what appear to be clear duplicates. However, there really were two brothers called Joshua, one born in 1767 and one in 1769. Obviously, the brother born in 1767 died as an infant and it was the brother born in 1769 who married Elizabeth Bewley and died in 1815.
I am therefore rejecting the merge and will try to sort the mess out.
Beale-369 and Beale-382 appear to represent the same person because: Orphaned Beale-369 lacks sources but looks like a repeat of Beale-382 (birth years close).
Their wives also look to be duplicated - again lack of information and sources with the Orphaned Bewley-66 (as with Beale-369) again suggests another duplication.
