Obituary for J. Loy Beals, Butler Eagle, 4 May 1978, pg. 8. Died at the age of 66, lived in Emlenton, PA, and was the owner/operator of the Beals' Garage for the last 32 years. Died of a heart attack on a Wednesday. Died at the home of Carmel Thompson while working on a garden. He was born on 8 Feb 1912 to Elgie Beals and Winifred Kline Beals. The funeral was held on the Saturday after he died and he was buried in the Emlenton Cemetery.
