Biography

John was born March 9, 1763 in Guilford County, North Carolina.[1]

Family

John was the son of Thomas Beals and Sarah Antrim. He was the 11th child of 13 children, eight girls and five boys.

John married October 23, 1788 in Guilford County, North Carolina to Mary Carter. They raised a family of six children, four sons and two daughters.

After Mary's death, John married secondly to Mary Johnson on November 2, 1803 in Grayson County, Virginia.[2] They raised a family of three children, one son and two daughters.

Death & Legacy

John died on July 5, 1848 in Hamilton County, Indiana.[3]

Burial

John is buried at the Hinkle Creek Cemetery, Hamilton County, Indiana.

Beals-1066 and Beals-577 appear to represent the same person because: Appears same person, the person who had the GEDCOM originally had a middle intial of 'W' which I do not believe is correct. Also, they had the wife as Margaret, rather than Mary.
