Biography

John Beam's extensive Lincoln County estate papers name his wife Mary Beam and his children.[1] The children of John and Mary (Hoyle) Beam are:

Burial

John Derrick Beam died October 29, 1822, at the age of 52, in Lincoln County, North Carolina and is buried in the Beaver Dam cemetery, in present-day Dallas, Gaston County, NC. His wife Mary (Hoyle) Beam survived him and died January 17, 1847. She is buried in the same cemetery.[2]
