Biography

Elizabeth was born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 8 Jan 1726 (church records show that her baptism was also in that year).^[1] She daughter of Abraham Beaman and Mary Rice.^[2] She married Stephen Howe, son of Ephraim Howe and Elizabeth Rice, in Marlborough on 30 Jan 1751. Her last name in the marriage record was recorded (or transcribed) as "Beaumont".^[3] They had six (known) children together, all born in Marlborough: 1) Keziah b. on 25 Mar 1753; she died abt. 3 months later on 20 Jun 1753; 2) Ephraim b. on 6 Jun 1754; 3) Stephen b. on 22 Aug 1758; he died a month past his third birthday on 19 Sep 1761; 4) Eleazer b. on 1 Apr 1761; 5) Elizabeth b. on 12 May 1764; and 6) Stephen b. on 24 Jul 1767. Elizabeth died in 1808 in Marlborough^[4] and is buried in Old Common Cemetery.^[5]
