Biography
Nelly McNorton Bean is the daughter of John Bean and Lettice (Allis) Bean.
On October 29, 1809, Nelly married Captain Bradbury Robinson (1784 - 1863), son of David Robinson and Elizabeth (Eastman) Robinson [1]
In the 1850 Census of Meredith, Belknap, New Hampshire, Nelly was sixty years of age, living with her husband, who is 65, two other Robinson family members. as well as her step-mother Olive (Moulton) Bean.

A family story: Nellie Bean wanted a mirror, at age 15. Her father said that "was a vanity" and he wouldn't buy it. So she raised the flax, spun it into linen, wove cloth and sold enough that she could buy the mirror herself.[2]
Death
Nelly Robinson died 10 May 1877 ae 87y 9m and is buried in the Swasey Cemetery, in Meredith, Belknap County, New Hampshire. [3]
