Research Notes
No christening record found. There are two Peter Broads (with different parents) christened at Braddock in 1658 and 1666, and a Peter Beard at Luxullyan in1646, but these are all rather a long way away.
No burial record found, but his Will/ administration was proved at Launceston in 1728.
- No marriage record found.
- Daughter Rebecca died in 1691, and the first Mary in the year of her christening.
- He is named as a carpenter or joyner in several of the records. His son Joseph was also a carpenter, as was his son-in-law Emmanuel - so perhaps Emmanuel worked with them in the familly business (and so met his future wife?).
