This Indenture, Made the twenty Eighth Day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty five by and Between Robert Ramsey of Macklinburg County & Province of North Carolina of the one part and George White of the County & Province aforesaid of the [other part] Witnesseth that the Said Robart Ramsey and Margret his Wife [sell to George White] a tract of Land Containing Two Hundred Acres Lying & Being in the County of Mecklinburg in the province of North Carolina on the North side of the Cataba River on Both Sides of Cain Creek … being a patent bearing Date the twenty third Day of February Anno Domini [one thousand] Seven Hundred & fifty four[1]
