Biography

Sarah Beard was born Feb 10 1730 in Stratford, Fairfield, CT to James Beard and Joannah [1]

Sarah married James Bradley [2]
JAMES 8 BRADLEY (William:2 lsaac:1) youngest son of William and Elizabeth (Chidsey) Bradley , was born in East Haven, Connecticut 15 June 1726 and died in Jericho, Vermont, in February 1806. [2] James Bradley apparently lived in Derby and New Haven, Connecticut, [2] and perhaps was living in Harwinton, Connecticut, in 1780. By 1790 he had removed to Williston, Vermont, for he was listed as the head of a family there in that year. [2] He probably lived in that part of Williston which borders on Jericho. It is possible that he died at the home of his daughter, Rhoda Skinner, who was living in Jericho at the time of his death
Children of James and Sarah Bradley are listed in Jacobus. Rhoda is not listed: [3]
  1. Elisha, bp. in Derby, Conn., 24 Dec. 1756; removed to Williston, Vt., where he was the head of a family in 1790. [4]
  2. Rhoda, 1759-1840); mar. Ashbel Skinner (1750-1829) [5] . (See Skinner family).
  3. Joseph, bp. in New Haven, 28 June 1761; liv. in Williston, Vt., in 1790, as the head of a family. [6]
  4. Sarah, bp. in New Haven, 15 Jan. 1764, [7] m Thomas D Rood Mar 9 1789 [8]
  5. Hepzibah, bp. in New Haven 3 Aug. 1766. [9]
  6. Joanna, bp. in New Haven 12 Mar. 1769. [10]

Research Notes

This is NOT the Sarah Beard who married Zachariah Blackman. That Sarah was the daughter of this Sarah's brother David.

Your reason for not merging these two profiles makes no sense because both of the profiles say exactly the same thing. Why did you create two duplicate profiles?
