Alice Elizabeth Beasley was born on February 4, 1889 in Orange, Orange, Texas, United States, daughter of Berry Beasley (1859–1933) and Sarah Jane Berwick (1868–1949).

Alice married Henry Letney Peveto (born on June 22, 1883 in Orange; son of Samuel Peveto and Emily Margaret (Bland) Peveto). Their son was Dennis R Peveto (1916–1974).
