I have been studying this profile and another Asa F Beasley in the same area. I believe that Asa F Beasley who married Sarah Anglin, son of John Giles Beasley and Martha Allums MIGHT NOT BE the Asa Beasley who died in 1865 in Ohio. That was the son of John's brother William Martin Beasley, born 1834 and never married. I believe the information at Findagrave MIGHT BE INCORRECT.
In 1850, Asa F (of John) b 1826 had just been married and living with his wife Sarah Anglin (Note, there is further confusion because many records have him married to Sarah Rhiner. But that is an Asa Beasley in Emanual Co GA. In 1860, he was still with Sarah and children Thomas, Martha, and Zenobia.
IN 1850, Asa F (of William( b 1834 was with his parents. He was again with his parents in 1860 and no further records have been found EXCEPT for the POSSIBLITY that he was actually the soldier who died in Ohio in 1865,
There are several other questions and mysteries I'm looking at, but I wanted to get this note on the record.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Asa by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Asa:
