This William Beasley is often said to be the son of William Beasley and Elizabeth Ripley without documentation. In fact, until evidence is provided to the contrary, his parents are not known. Please see note for William Beezley/Beasley. An in depth Biography from John Beatty's manuscript can be found at [1]

Notes
The identity of William Beasley b 1630 in England and married to Elizabeth Ripley is commonly ascribed to this Beasley line with no documentation or support. On behalf of the Beasley Genealogy Project and Beasley DNA Project, it is our belief that there is no substantiation for this individual. There are research details for Elizabeth Ripley, but we can offer no support to the notion that she was married to a William Beasley.
The connection between this Joyes Peacock and a son named William. I have no evidence to support or refute information about her or spouse John Beasley so I'm leaving that to others to address.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Update for my previous note 11 Apr 2016. We now have DNA evidence where this William Beasley is the common ancestor of two Y67 tests at FTDNA (Genetic Distance 1). Some of his descendants have profiles on WikiTree but many contain substantial errors.
Note that DNA evidence for this man has not been established. However, there is active research being conducted at FTDNA Beasley DNA project. Several YDNA tests have been performed on possible descendants of this line with mixed results indicating the likelihood of mistakes in common assumptions or, more likely, non-paternal events where the father of named Beasley's were not, themselves, Beasley descendants. William Beasley/Beezley/Beezly who married Mary Ripley was likely born in Lancashire, England in the 1650's. The year 1658 cannot be confirmed. His will was presented by his wife Mary on 17 Nov 1719. The transcription of the will shows the spelling Beezley and Beezly although many of his descendants passed on the spelling Beazley and Beasley. Mary Ripley was not likely the mother of his children, but rather a second marriage after 1700. The sons listed in the will included William, Benjamin, Henry, John and Charles.
