Catherine Beaton was born in Kilmuir, Invernesshire, Scotland, United Kingdom around the 25th December 1876, she was the daughter of Donald Beaton (1840-) and his wife Julia (1841-).
Catherine married Norman Grant (1873-1914), the son of Ewen Grant (1831-1881) and May (Marion) Beaton (1837-1881) around 1899. Her husband was killed in the Battle of Trindade on the 14th September 1914.
Catherine died around 1960.
