Biography

Chaddie (Beauchamp) Pickthall lived in Undefined Place, Wellington, New Zealand.

Charlotte Mary Beauchamp was born in 1887 in Wellington, New Zealand. She was the daughter of Harold Beauchamp and Anne Dyer and her younger sister was Katherine Mansfield ^[1].

In Aug 1912, Charlotte went to Canada on the ship Makura aged 25 years ^[3].

Charlotte married John Charles Campbell Perkins in 1913 in New Zealand but he died in 1918 ^[4]. Her second marriage was to Cecil Pickthall and they married in 1923 at St George Hanover Square ^[5].

The vessels they sailed on were MV `Port Hobart', MV `Port Jackson', MV `Lalitea', MV `Menestheus', SS `Nieuw Zeeland', MV `Gorgon', SS `Awatea' and SS `Nairana' ^[6].
