Mary was born in 1880. She was the daughter of Cyrille Beaupre and Elizabeth Burnash.
Mary married Edward Jones on 25 Apr 1897 in Ardoch, Ontario, Canada.[1] They had children.
Mary Jones (nee Beaupre) was the daughter of Elizabeth Beaupre (nee Bernashe) and Cyrille Beaupre. We were told through the years that Cyrille was Native North American (possibly Ojibwa) and that Mary was born on Sucker Creek Indian Reserve around 1881. We don't know if there is any truth to this, as we can find no record of her birth and no record of Cyrille and Elizabeth's marriage. It is believed they were married in Kingston .
Beth's mother and grandmother remember going to the funeral and they recall Mary (nee Beaupre) sitting beside the casket most of the day talking about how she was going straight out to marry herself another husband.
My mother used to be afraid of her as a child because she remembers her looking like an old indian witch ( or so she says).
