For those researching the Beaupre Family, check out the following document: http://www.paquetteconsulting.ca/bonhomme/bonhommepart1.pdf which provides details of the origins of the dit Beaupre name. A great resource for details on the French Canadian 'dit' naming practice can also be found on Sandra Goodwin's website, Maple Stars & Stripes: http://www.paquetteconsulting.ca/bonhomme/bonhommepart1.pdf. Sandra's website and podcast series are terrific resources for anyone researching French Canadian ancestors.

Xavier dit Beaupre-2 and Beaupre-337 appear to represent the same person because: I have been digitizing a family genealogy that was produced by Linda Cote-Dube in the 1990s that has additions to this family line.
