Biography
Nicolas was born on July 19th 1706, he was the son of Nicolas Bonhomme Lejeune, Nicolas (Beaupre) Bonhomme dit Beaupré, and Marie Therese Voyer. He was baptized July 22nd 1706 in L'Ancienne-Lorette. Godparents were his grandfather Nicolas Bonhomme and his grandmother Jeanne Routhier wife of Jacques Voyer. None signed.[1]
On October 30th 1731, in L'Ancienne-Lorette, Nicolas Bonhomme son of deceased Nicolas (Beaupre) Bonhomme dit Beaupré and deceased Therese Voyer married Marie Louise Beaupre daughter of Noël Bonhomme and Félicité Hamel. All of this parish. Witnesses were: Groom- His paternal uncle and guardian Ignace Bonhomme, his maternal uncle Pierre Voyer; Bride- Her father Noël Bonhomme, her grandfather Jean François Hamel, her grandmother Anne Levasseur, her aunt Marie Anne Bonhomme, Noel Chanvrin "enseigne des troupes de Sieur Flamand", Pierre Dion and others. The groom signs as do several others.[2] Dispensation was obtained for a third degree of consanguinity. Their common ancestors were: Nicolas Bonhomme and Catherine Gouget as well as Jean Levasseur and Marguerite Richard.
Nicolas Bonhomme, "vieillard', died April 16th 1793 at the age of 84 years. Witnesses were Sieur Étienne de Varreine, Jean Delisle and Louis Déry. There are no signatures.[3]
