Died due a dynamite explosion in the mine.

They had nine children: Elsie Lou (1911-1972); Sallie Mae (1913-1984); Alma Lloyd (1915-1989); Anne Elizabeth (1917-1987); John Wilkerson, Jr. (1919-1919); Walter Bundy (1921-1980); Mary Catherine (1923-1997); Lodema (1926-2005); Graves “Jack” (1930-2007).

Mr. Beavers was not killed in a mine explosion. When he was robbed of his life's savings for the second time ( he didn't trust banks), he lost his will to live and killed himself with explosives. This is from his son Graves, who was my father-in-law.
