Biography

Henry Beck was in the British Army in Belfast, Northern Ireland when he met and married Margaret Wakelin. Louisa was born in Belfast. They then moved to Ireland where Margaret and William were born. The family then moved to Devon in England, before heading to India, leaving Louisa behind. When her mother died, her father remarried and the new family came back to England, leaving Louisa estranged.

In 1871 - Henry was a Colour Sergeant in the 63 Regiment. In 1881 - Henry was a Colour Sergeant in the 63 Regiment. In 1891 - Henry was a Brewery Clerk.
