Biography

Mary was born in 1786 in Johnston, North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of Caleb D Beck and Hannah Kennard. [1]

Joseph Edward Rhodes married Sarah Polly Beck on 9 Aug 1804 in, Johnston, North Carolina, USA. [2][3]

The couple had 9 children: Curtis Rhodes, Elizabeth Betsy Rhodes, Calvin Rhodes, Sarah Ann Rhodes, Nancy Rhodes, Caleb Beck Rhodes, Everett Edward Rhodes, Joseph E Rhodes and Mary Polly Rhodes.


In the 1850 census Mary (age 63) was living in Division 3, Darlington, South Carolina.[4]
