Biography

Note that Aunt June's Journal uses the name "George" in place of the name "Henry."^[1][2] It is probable that she mixed his name up with that of Henry's son, George. The other sources attached verify that this son of Zacharia and Margaret is correctly named Henry. Other than the name swap, Aunt June's information is supported by these other sources.^[3]

Henry was born 19 April 1818^[4] in New York state. He was the son of Zacharia Bedell and Margaret Cornelius.^[5] He was married to Mary Lash^[6] on 9 August 1846 in Kosciusko county, Indiana.^[7] They had four children;

The 1850 US Census records, Henry and his family are living in Kosciusko county.^[8] He passed away on 1 November 1855 in Warsaw, Kosciusko county, Indiana.^[9]
