Louis Marchand was born on 11 Feb 1762 and baptized the following day in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours parish of L'Islet, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Pierre Marchand dit Belange and Marie Bernier.[1]

Marriage
Louis Isaac Bélanger married Marie Anne Duval, daughter of Pierre Duval and the late Marie Anne Carron, on 22 Jan 1788 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Province de Québec.[2]

Death and Burial
Isaac Bélanger, husband of Marie Anne Dupoleau dite Duval, passed away on 16 Apr 1815 being given the age of around 54 years on the record. His burial was the 18th in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Bas-Canada.[3]
