Disputed Spouse

A prior version of this profile claimed that Sarah Belcher was the wife of Daniel Blevins. The only source cited for this claim was The Longhunters, a self-published book by Leslie Blevins which itself cites no source for the claim.^[1] A 1771 power of attorney described in Daniel's profile confirms that his wife was named Sarah, but her last name at birth is unknown.
