Nancy Jane Belcher was born about 1873 in West Virginia, USA. She was the daughter of James Belcher and Mahalia Wolfe.[1]
In the 1880 US census, Nancy Jane Belcher (7) was living in Elk Horn, Mcdowell County, West Virginia, with parents James A Belcher (46) and Mahalia Belcher (41), and siblings John b (22), Floyd J 916), Parris (13), Leb (10) and Mary A (2), and with aunt Nancy Wolf (49) and Andrew Jackson (16).[1]
