Mary Bell is shown living with her parents in the US Census for 1840 (1) 1850 (age 11)[1]and 1860 (age 21). The 1870 Census shows Mary (age 30) keeping house for her father, Samuel Green Bell. Her mother has apparently died.
The 1880 US Census shows Mary now married to James McKinney and living in District 6, Henderson Co., TN. They have a 1 year old child.
Children: James and Mary have three children. An infant son and daughter who must die at birth. Another son - Edward W. - dies at age 2 yrs. 4 mos. 3 days. All three children are buried in New Beech Grove Cemetery, Henderson Co. TN and graves are noted on Find-a-Grave site.
The 1900 US Census has Mary McKinney living in Texas with her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and George Baughn. She is a widow. Husband JP McKinney died September 26, 1885 at age 65 and is buried in New Beech Grove Cemetery, Henderson Co., TN (Find-A-Grave website).
The 1910 US Census has Mary still residing with her sister, Susan Baughn and George - a widow.
Mollie McKinney died on June 25, 1916 in McKinney Collin, Texas and is buried in a Deport, Cemetery in Deport, Texas. There is a picture of her grave marker on the Find A Grave website. [2]
