George John Bellamy was born in 1865 in Camberwell, Surrey, England to George Bellamy and Rebecca (Revill) Bellamy. His birth was registered in Camberwell in the second quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Revill.^[1]

In 1871 George Bellamy (age 6, Scholar) lived in Peckham St Mary Magdalen, Camberwell with his father George (48, Gas Fitter), mother Rebecca (51), and five siblings: Catherine (17, Staymaker), Charles Revill (15, Printer), Ann (13, Scholar), Louisa Beatrice (11, Scholar), and Edith (8, Scholar).^[2]

In 1911 George John Bellamy (age 46, Fitter Gasworks Old Kent Rd Peckham) lived in Camberwell with his wife Rose Ann (48) and four children: George Revill (24, Working on Type Machine Gasworks), Polly Elizabeth (20, Packer at Doll Factory Bell & Francis), Florrie (15, Packer at Doll Factory Bell & Francis), and Annie (9).^[7]

George's wife Rose A Bellamy passed away in 1941.
