Augustin Porter is shown in the Porter Pedigree in the Visitation of Lincolnshire in 1562-4, where it states that he was the 2nd son of John Porter of Markham in Nottinghamshire, and married to the daughter of Sir Robert Bellingham and with children: Christopher, Jane, Augustine (of Belton Llincolnshire), Katherine and Margaret
