Biography
When James Bellows was born in 1776 in Monmouth, New Jersey, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Anna Culver on December 31, 1801, in Sussex, New Jersey. They had eight children in 29 years. He died on July 3, 1849, in Belpre, Ohio, at the age of 73.
