Obituary
August Bendig
August Bendig, aged 37 years, of No. 35 Prospect Street, Etna, died this morning after a brief illness with pneumonia. He had been a resident of the borough for the past 25 years. He was an employee of the Spang-Chalfant Company as a machinist, having been employed by the firm for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Etna volunteer fire department and a member of the Royal Arcarum. A widow and six children survive.
