Bennet-268 and Bennet-64 do not represent the same person because: this is not the same person - birth and death dates are way off and 268 is probably descendant of 64
Bennett-1053 and Bennet-64 appear to represent the same person because: they were in an unmerged match & the New Netherland Settlers Approval System (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:New_Netherland_Settlers_-_Approval_System) now has them marked "Green" (NNS Category) and "Orange" (Merge Pending), indicating that the two are ready to be merged. This Arie Willemszen Bennet was imported in error as Son of Adriaen W. Bennet and Angenietje Jans Van Dyck. But by his abt 1637 birth and his patronymic, he is clearly a match for brother of Adriaen instead.
There has been some confusion in the histories between these two sons, on the names and dates.
From the matches, the correct name for this son is Arie.
the correct birth appears to be January 6, 1641.
The correct death is not known, but it is NOT February 9, 1704, which is the death of the brother Adriaen.
So I am going to move this Arie Bennet-64
forward to NNS, and set the matches. But he will need to be disconnected from the false parents, before merge.
