Jethro Bennett was born on 25 Oct 1836 in Meadowville, Barbour County, Virginia, son of Jacob Bennett (1802 - 1882) and Sarah (Phillips) Bennett (1805 - 1899).
Jethro married Phoebe Ellen Moore (1843 - 1922).
Jethro died on 6 Sep 1919 in Harding, Randolph County, West Virginia, USA aged 82. He is buried in Stringtown Cemetery, Belington, West Virginia.
