Biography
Thomas A. Bennet is the son of William Bennett and Rachel White Bennett.
On August 24, 1826, in Jackson County, Georgia, Thomas married Nancy Barr. She was born 1 March 1803, Abbeville, N.C. She died 24 Nov. 1887, Gainsville, Hall Co, Ga.
Thomas was the first person interred at the Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia. His wife is buried next to him.
