Biography
Marion Mary Bennett was the 5th daughter of Henry Riley Bennett and Matira Te Pokiha. She was born on 20 August 1865.
Marriage and family
She married William Brown, with issue two daughters.
Death and burial
"She died of severe burns after her dress was engulfed by flames while she was ironing clothes next to a roaring fireplace." HBF. She was buried at Whangapoua in the Coromandel.
