Biography

Clarence Nels Bennett was born circa May of 1891, in Nebraska, to Nellie Melvina Anderson and Samuel David Bennett.^[1]

On October 14, 1909, Clarence was sent to prison for conviction on breaking and entering charges.^[2] In 1910, he was a laborer at the Iowa State Penitentiary, in Fort Madison, Iowa.^[3]

On January 28, 1914, in Grand Forks County, North Dakota, Clarence married Evelyn Hope Jones.^[4] They had 1 child, born 10 month's after the marriage and nearly 8 months after Clarence's presumed death in March.^{[citation needed]}
