  • Pittsylvania County, Virginia Land Record:

13 Dec 1800 land transaction between Thomas Bennett and James Bennett. Thomas is selling 75 acres which mentions William Roysden, father of Thomas' wife, Margaret Roysden Bennett. Thomas resided in South Carolina and James in Pittsylvania County Virginia. Daniel Crider, another distant relative is a witness on the document. The Crider family eventually moved near the Bennett family in the Fredonia Valley of western Kentucky - Crittenden, Lyon and Caldwell Counties. Richard Bennett owned the adjoining property and is the brother of James and Thomas. Richard (1703) is a family name coming down from Governor of Virginia, Richard Bennett.

Everything matches except I have 3 sources that have Hannah Goad as his mother. Definite dates for his birth and Mary Humphrey's death need to be determined before there is a merge.
Bennett-32926 and Bennett-1195 appear to represent the same person because: same birth and death dates and locations; also married to same woman
