Caroline Lavenia (Vernie) Pittman (born Bennett), 1921 - 2013 Caroline Lavenia (Vernie) Pittman (born Bennett) was born in 1921, to John Edward Benoit and Lydia Gertrude Bennett (born Brown). John was born on June 2 1887, in Lobster Cove, Newfoundland. Lydia was born on April 22 1897. Caroline had 5 siblings: Sidney Bennett, Lorne Bennett and 3 other siblings. Caroline married Campbell Pittman on month day 1939, at age 18 at marriage place. Campbell was born on May 31 1915, in Big Island, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. They had 9 children. Caroline passed away on month day 2013, at age 92 at death place.
