Mary Bennett was baptised on 18th September 1722 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.[1]
Research Notes
This profile was originally attached as a possible wife of Joseph Phillips with a marriage in 1733 and death in North Carolina in 1775. Clearly, she did not marry at age 11 and it was a different Mary Bennett who emigrated to America. Both marriage and death dates have been removed.
She was also stated to be the daughter of George Bennett and Mary Lane, contrary to the only source cited on her profile which says that she was baptised the daughter of William Bennett. Those parents have been disconnected.
