Biography

Louise Jane Bennett (1875-1961) was born in 1875 in Wakefield, Massachusetts to Geneviève Vitaline (Frontain) Bennett (abt.1851-1921) and Samuel Benoit (1849-1927). [1]

She married Rémi LeBlanc (à François). They moved to Belleville, Nova Scotia about 1895.

They raised ten children. Louise died in 1961 according to her gravestone and is buried in Sainte Anne du Ruisseau, in the older part of the parish cemetery. The report on her home in the Argyle Heritage Inventory states she died in 1953. [2] Her registration of death states that she died on October 24, 1961 in the Yarmouth Hospital.

Louise was mentioned on a memorial in Sainte-Anne Parish Cemetery, Sainte-Anne-du-Ruisseau, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada with a death date of 24 October 1961.[3]

DNA

Lawrence Muise, FTDNA kit # 172529, and his maternal line cousin UNK (a direct matrilineal descendant of Monique LeFevre), FTDNA kit N143206, have an Genetic Distance = 1 in HVR2 at A214R, thereby confirming their direct maternal lines back to their most-recent common ancestor who is Catherine Lejeune, the 7x great grandmother of Lawrence Muise and 9th great grandmother of UNK.
