Said to be a Choctaw Indian. She fought in the battle of Buchanon Station in 1794. She and other wives of the settlers, made bullets and reloaded guns for the men as they held off the indian invasion. She was the second wife of Jacques Timothe' (Boucher) Demonbreun.
She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, she was kicked out due to immoral behavior. She owned Granny Rats Bar near Joelton, ( a stage coach relay station). The Bar was a gift from Jacques Timothe' Demonbreun.
Her son, John Baptiste said to be the illegit son of Timothe Boucher Demonbreun. He adopted Demonbreun surname. He is buried at Carney Cemetary in Cheatham county TN.
Elizabeth married Joseph Desaque Durard on March 12, 1793 in Davidson County TN.
Elizabeth is listed on the 1850 Census in Davidson county TN, age 105.
