Caleb Bennett (Caleb4, Caleb3, Henry2, Henry1) was born 12 Jan 1730 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut. He married Anna Horton about 1754. She was born 1742 in Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts. Caleb sailed from Connecticut to Cornwallis, Nova Scotia in 1760. Like his second cousin Zadock Bennett, Caleb also settled in Horton. He was granted 750 acres there on 29 May 1761, registered 13 June 1761.[2]

Caleb and Anna had at least two children.[2]
