Claude Benoit was born in 1716 in Acadie, son of Jean Benoit and Marie Anne Breau.

Claude BENOIT, son of Jean & Marie-Anne BREAU, married around 1737 to Anne COMEAU, daughter of Étienne & Marguerite FOREST.

Their known children were:

  1. Marie Benoit (about 1738 – Nov 1795) .
  2. Augustin Benoit (about 1740 – before Jul 20 1790) .
  3. Etienne Benoit (about 1750 – about Dec 8 1787)
