Birth

Ann Benoit was born Nov 1867, the daughter of Luc Benoit and Catherine Josseau[1]. She was baptised Jul 25, 1868 in Sandy Point, Newfoundland.

Anne Marche (Nee Benoit) and John Francois Marche

Anne Marche (nee Benoit) Born in November 25, 1867 at Marches Point and was baptised july 25, 1868 by Reverends Alex Bélanger. Her Gosparents were Joseph Benoit and Marie Laine (now Laisne). John Francois Marche (1860 - 1946) was born at Nardinis. John and Anne were married in 1882.

Anne was the daughter of Luc (Luke) Benoit Sr. and Catherine Jesso. She was the sister of Henry Benoit who married Angelina Félix. John Marche was the son of Francis Marche and Sophie Alexander.

Luc (Luke) Anne's father, merried twice. His first wife was Helene LeBlanc. They had 10 children. Luc and Helene were married in 1832 in Margaree, Nova Scotia. Helene died in 1856 at the age of 43.

Luc and his second wife Catherine Jesso were married at Sandy Point in november 1863. They also had 12 children. Catherine was the daugher of Alex Jessso and Anne Lejeune (Young).
